NightVisionsFS – safe recognition of pedestrians in vehicles

In a world of a growing traffic volume on our roads, systems that support the driver while driving gain more and more importance. Electronic systems in particular that warn the driver of pedestrians are highly important for everybody.

One possibility to visualize pedestrians in darkness and low visibility provides the FIR-camera. It produces an infrared image in which people are silhouetted against the cold background.

In order that the driver is not distracted from traffic by looking at the image, FusionSystems has developed software that recognizes and marks endangered persons.

Thereby, the attention of the driver is only directed to the FIR-image if an actual endangered person is in front of the car. The person is highlighted in colour on the image and the driver is able to react safely to the situation and in good time.

FusionSystems distributes demo software of NightVisionFS to demonstrate our customers the potential of this system.

In doing so, we adapt our software to your interfaces, to the FIR camera in use and, of course, to specific requirements you may have.
