The automatic feeding of parts and components is one of the essential tasks in a highly automated manufacturing process. Position measurement – as for example in spiral springs - is a task that is easy to solve with an image processing system. Apart from this, our additionally measures the size of the springs in order to control the accuracy of the dimensions for the subsequent assembly and likewise to secure the intended function of the spring.
